Thursday Thoughts: Being Consciously Aware

One of the biggest lessons to learn in life is to be conscious of your surroundings, your own behavior, and the decisions you make because it will ultimately lead you to the place you’re meant to be. It takes awhile for this to happen. A lot of circumstances and dogma can hinder your inner voice and can prevent you from being a present and positive person.


The purpose of today’s post is to inspire you to let your thoughts guide you to your actions. Thoughts are so powerful, even the negative ones. From someone who has suffered with anxiety for most of my life, I had to constantly fight those internal battles and shift my perceptions. It’s made me a much more confident and happier person. I still have my days, but it definitely helps when I have these mantras that I recite to myself.

Melanie Moushigian Koulouris is one of my favorite quote writers and I found this gem and couldn’t wait to share it. It resonates with me on many levels because it reinforces how imperative it is to stay committed to yourself and your goals- whatever they may be, no matter how big or small.
